COVID-19 Updates:
BC Provincial Health Officer announced a province-wide survey to elicit the public’s experience, knowledge and actions during the COVID-19 pandemic. It is the first of several activities that will strengthen the pandemic response and understanding of the impacts of COVID-19 to date. It takes 10-15 minutes, and will run until May 31. At the end of the survey, participants will be asked about participating in two important initiatives:
* A serology survey (blood testing) to help determine immunity across the population.
* Planning for future waves in which identifying, containing and tracing are substantially strengthened through technology tools to enable integrated and coordinated information sharing.
The survey is available online at bccdc.ca/covid19survey in English and simplified Chinese. Those who can’t complete the survey online or need assistance in another language may call 1-833-707-1900, seven days a week, between 8:30 and 4:30, to take the survey over the phone.
